Here are some things that I like that are related to creativity, college admission, or both:

Article: What is a Good College? Akil Bello is one of my favorite people and this breakdown is an important read. He wrote it on the heels of watching one of his own children research and apply to film programs which very often show up on "ranked" lists that do not include any backing data and are written by "The Staff". It's a great primer on what information needs to be kept in perspective, and what doesn't.

College Essay Guy - fabulous resource for writing the college essay. The founder, Ethan Sawyer, has a background in screenwriting and acting so his materials are particularly well-suited for crafting creative narratives. They also have a great podcast.

Dance Magazine - I recommend reading content on this site to anyone regardless of their art form, because making/doing any kind of art is incredibly physical and there is a great range of detailed and nuanced descriptive and expressive language that is valuable for architecture, fine art, design, music, theater, film... all areas in addition to dance.

Louisiana Channel - Artist interviews. Great to watch to get ideas on what to say about your creative process.

Career Vision Jamie - Imaginative account featuring unexpected connections around interests and career pathways.

Jenn The Tutor - Jennifer Jessie knows when and where you're going to crash out, and she'll get out in front of you.

Georgia Tech Admission Blog - Rick is the Executive Director of Strategic Student Success at Georgia Tech, and a longtime stalwart for down-to-earth perspective.

Ask Ms. Sun - Frequently updated resource about University of California admission, both at the system level and also information about campuses.

Article: Do You Need A Private College Counselor? I Asked The Pros - Akil Bello again. He interviews a bunch of my favorite people about hiring a private counselor.
